"Look, Mommy, no hands!!!"

Today, Katelyn is 7 months old...wow times flies! Last night she was showing us a trick at the dinner table! Enjoy the video! (The trick starts 28 seconds into video, and she does it twice)

Merry Christmas!!!

I cannot believe that it is this time of year already. We have been working with Micah teaching him what the true meaning of Christmas is. The verse Micah learned in his choir sums this up,

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

It is hard for a 4 year old to grasp the concept of giving. After his birthday in September, he could have celebrated his birthday everyday, and still not have had enough birthdays. We have been telling him that this is Jesus' birthday. I think he is finally getting it...we'll see!

Katelyn is growing and learning new things. She is beginning to sit up, and learning to crawl. We will have fun times this Christmas!!!

I am so thankful for my family, and for this Christmas season reminding us what God did for us so many years ago.

Micah's first appearance in the singing is at 15:20. They sing through twice, and during the second time, Micah was giving Derek thumbs up. Enjoy!!

Dad got the flower for Katelyn when she was born (in honor of her name, Katelyn Rose), and she is just now appreciating it. Also, Katelyn takes some time to observe the bumper that Dede made her!

While we were in Memphis, Micah went to gymnastics with Victoria. He loved it. He does "gymnastics" all the time! I have other videos

Long time no post!

Well, I do have MANY pictures to post, but they are still on my camera. I hesitate to put them on my computer. Memory issues!!! :-) I'm sure I will do it soon, but until then, I do have a couple to share. We went to Memphis and had family pictures made. This first picture is of all the grandchildren on my (Esther's) side. Well, almost all, my sister has another one on the way due in March. :-) (Are family pictures ever up to date???)

Since my last post, Micah turned 4, Katelyn is 4 months old, we got her ears pierced, went to Memphis..... (so, as you can see I do have a lot of pics to post, but until then....enjoy!!!!)
